What is a Shambala Bracelet?

In Tibetan Buddhism there is legend of a mythical kingdom called Shambhala, a place where peace and tranquility reside. As a prayer tool, Buddhists would use the Shambala bracelet to help them reach that deep, serene state during meditation. Considered a symbol of oneness, many people draw personal strength from wearing their Shamballa bracelet and like to assign meaning to each bead.

In this workshop you will learn the basic knotting technique used to create your own Shambala bracelet. This technique can be applied in many jewelry making projects and is a great skill to have.
